Applause reaches all of Canada’s largest market -30% of the population originating from AM740, CFZM ranked 10th in market share in Toronto out of 26+ stations. The show has an extensive listenership. Michael has followed the Broadway/London music scene for over 40+ years. Applause now in its 17th continuous year has been broadcast in various markets across North America during the past 40 years.
Michael presents an eclectic mix of music covering the showbiz scene from Broadway, Hollywood, the London Stage, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago. This includes the presentation of film and television soundtracks. In addition to the music you’ll be kept up to date on shows touring North America.
Michael Englebert is a freelance broadcaster whose programs over the past 40 years have been heard across the country in such markets as Victoria B.C., Edmonton Alberta, Ottawa, Kingston, Montreal, and Toronto. Englebert has been heard for over two decades on Air Canada’s in-flight audio, announcing/producing programs about stage musicals and classical music.
